Animals you’ll see and encounterDuring your ranger-led experience, you’ll explore the sanctuary at night and encounter a range of iconic Australian wildlife, including:
- Koalas – See these iconic animals in their natural evening routine
- Tasmanian devils – Experience their power and personality after dark
- Wombats – Often more active in the cooler evening hours
- Possums – Active and curious after dark
- Gliders – A rare chance to see these beautiful animals in action
- Bettongs and potoroos – Small, fast-moving native marsupials
- Curlews and tawny frogmouths – Quiet hunters of the night
- Reptiles – Including snakes and other nocturnal species
- Kangaroos and wallabies – Often more active in the evening
Every night is a little different, and as you move through the sanctuary you may also come across:
