Our programs cover a spectrum of topics, from species identification to ecosystem roles, ensuring participants depart with a wealth of knowledge. And the best part? Education Programs:

Dive deep into environmental topics with our Education Programs! Our passionate Rangers offer a range of immersive experiences, from interactive sessions to behind-the-scenes opportunities. With purpose-built facilities, learning seamlessly transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces, sparking curiosity and creativity.

Hands-on Learning:

At our sanctuary, we believe in fostering connections with wildlife through hands-on experiences. Participants have the chance to feed, touch, and even hold native animals, fostering appreciation and a desire to protect our natural world.

Excursion Highlights:

  • 10:15am: Arrival and Welcome.
  • 10:30am: Introduction and Safety Briefing.
  • 10:40am: Explore the Woodlands area and meet iconic Australian animals, including kangaroos, emus, and swans. Visit our adorable koalas and learn about endangered species programs.
  • 11:15am: Journey to the amphitheatre to encounter scaly friends such as lizards, turtles, snakes, and the saltwater crocodile, Australia's apex predator.
  • 12:15pm: Lunch Break.
  • 12:45pm: Dive into the world of nocturnal animals, meeting gliders, tawny frogmouths, possums, and more. Witness their unique behaviours under the cover of dark.
  • 1:30pm: Excursion concludes and farewell departure.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Duration: This experience runs for 3 hours.

Ages: This experience caters to all ages. All children must be comfortable in the presence of animals. Children 3 years old and young are free with a paying parent/guardian.

Minimum Booking: There is a minimum requirement of 20 participants and maximum of 90 participants. If there are under 20 participants the minimum fee is for 20.

Exclusivity: This experience is exclusive to your booking. No other groups will be joined to your group

WWC: It is mandatory for all Australian Wildlife Sanctuary staff to have a clear verified Working With Children Check.
